funny that ... phil thought it might be a tx aswell ... let's compare with ebay item number 270222533065 which is already at £800 with 4 days to go !! please have a good look and let me know what you all think .... as it would be an 800 mile round trip for me ;D

I don't remember seeing hardly any tx 500's around here but didn't Suzuki come out with there Mach 3 or 2's about then?I did see quite a number of them and boy were they fast. On a quick look of the tx500 I think of the xs 650.

well folks , i'll let you know what the nice one in the netherlands goes for .... and given the lack of information with the one in the uk , as much as i'd like it an 800 mile round trip rules it out !!

hope your sitting down xs ? the project one in the uk sold for £255 and the shiney one in the netherlands sold for .... wait for it .... £5300 !! ;D

I actually had a TX500 that I bought new in 1973. It was a very pretty copper metallic color. It had a DOHC eight valve vertical twin with a balancer shaft, which turned at twice crankshaft speed giving it a turbine-like whine. As I recall it was pretty quick out of the hole, but only had a top end of 115mph. Nice bike though!
