I had a friend who owned an H1, we called him Rapid Robert, the bike was either on the pipe or not, not much in between.

Well this forum reminds me of when I lived in the UK, it would have been around 1975 or 76 the Japanese 2 stroke invasion was at it's height, Bonnie riders were none to pleased about getting whipped from traffic lights by 350 Yamaha's. There was talk around Norwich of a Kawa triple 500 that had been turned into a cafe racer that would pull over 120 MPH and would reach that speed in 12 seconds. I saw it once I guess for the mid 70's it was quick, but God love them they could never go round corners and lets be honest, they sound a bit like a nasally John Inman!
