Once you are seduced by an xs 1100 you won't go back to any thing else:-)

Great video! You can barely see the shaft jacking effect. Hardly noticeable at all. ;D (Just kidding)

Count me in the XS 1100 owners club. I love mine, but it is sitting quietly in the garage awaiting new carbs. One down side to a 30 year old bike, parts is hard to come by. When it runs, it's a blast, roll the throttle, hit 5000 and GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I think it's time for Jeff to change his coffee cans. Maybe every 10,000 miles or so ? ;D

Hey Jeff,we are trying for a little xs1100 get together thing down south here and you are welcome to show, nothing like the Kaw run a couple of weeks ago, just a short sunday after noon ride oo and ahhing other 1100's and make a few friends and maybe in the future we can get a good ride lined up. So far looks like about eight from who knows where are planning to join in ,this is very loose and a relaxed ride as evident by the roads chosen.A little discussion is going on here but most as been pm's and e mails.Just a thought for ya. www.ridingacrossusa.com/forum/index.php/topic,756.0.html Bill

Actually I am planning to replace the exhaust this winter. Mac makes a 4 into 2 system that is OK. And budget permitting I may have some new paint.

If you look closely at the picture you will see that I left the keys in the ignition. It is heavily insured , but I've not run into any thief desperate enough to steal it. I figure I would get enough money from the insurance to buy something more modern. Like a nice 84 Venture or something like that. ;D

I didn't care about the keys in the ignition....I was eye balling the tank bag ;D Our little Cincinnati XS ride went well..four out of eight made it. Looking forward to a ride next year with a little more advance notice. www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20163Bill
