I went to the Cleveland area to deliver a R60 for my boss. The house was in a gated residential community with a huge attached garage. It housed 20+ BMW motorcycles! His love of German engineering was evident. After some horse trading this R27 found its way onto my truck. 8300 miles of original old school coolness. It was complete with the factory luggage rack. I removed the dealer installed bench seat, added an OEM Denfield solo, washed it three times, sat on it twice, and put it in the corner on my garage under a cover. It needs a battery and fluid change. I have visions of grandeur riding it on the Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway with my lovely wife!

That's a great old bike, how did you manage to talk him out of it ? I see it's got the Earl's type forks the BMW was noted for back in the day.
And it's a thumper too !! ;D
