This is a photo that was taken in 1946 just after the end of the 2nd World War, it is my Dad on his 250 BSA single. The photo was taken in his Dads garden, they lived on Earlham Green Lane in Norwich. The photo came to light this last week, we were in Norwich for my Mums funeral and we we were looking thought a pile of old photo's.

So that's how motorcycles got into your blood. That must have been a good example of a BSA, I don't see any oil on his pant leg or under the bike. Your dad looks the proper gentleman.
Very sorry for the loss of your mom Bill, you have our sympathy.
