I have been riding for the most part since I was about 12 yrs old(1959). Started on a 1947 Cushman which became legal for the road at age 14. Since then I have ridden many different bikes of all brands. Mostly Hondas and Yamaha's for a few years I rode mostly in the dirt but I did this often. My bikes at that time varied between enduros and out an out moto cross style. Presently and for the last say 15 yrs my riding has been road riding. I presently ride a Harley Ultra Classic. I'm retired now and spend as much time as I can squeeze out of other endeavers to ride usually a couple long rides a week in the summer if weather permits. I live in the southeast suburbs of Akron near Mogadore. Where it all began

Don, Sounds like you enjoy a variety of rides. I'm the same way myself. I get on my dirt bike and really enjoy it, then get on the Guzzi and really enjoy it, then the little d/p bike and enjoy it. It's all good.
Next up: motard. Ever try one of those?

A motard uses a 17" front rim with a street tire. It's designed more to burn up the twisties than ride in the dirt. Remember the "Superbikers" on ABC's Wide World of Sports?
The old enduro is what they now call a dual sport. (Think KLR 650 or DR 650.) These bikes have a 21" front rim and are designed for a mix of dirt and street.
