Jeff, welcome to Ride Ohio, glad to have another Ohio rider on the forum. Also glad to see we have yet another V-Strom rider on the forum too, the Strom seems to be a very popular bike, I think that makes a total of 4 Strom owners. We know from talking to the other Strom riders that the bike is bullet proof. Again, welcome to the group...post some photos of you and your Strom. XS

Hi Jeff, nother Strom owner here! Good to see you. Mine is a DL1000, an 2003. I live not all so far from you in Perry County. My friend and I rode to Pappa Boo's on Buckeye Lake yesterday. My mother lives on the South Shore. My sister works for the Licking County School board.

Welcome, Jeff, from another Strom owner. We have a 650 too but ours is a 04. We have a lot of fun on that bike. Love to see some pics of places you've had your bike.

There are detailed instructions on uploading photos on the "Welcome Mat" on this forum. Once you get onto it, it only takes seconds to upload a photo. BTW, photobucket is a free service.

Thanks for the photo instructions. I actually found them on my own too! I'm sooo proud. Here are a few pics of my bikes. A little about me: I'm old (just turned 50), and have only been riding for three years. I have bought and sold a few bikes, an 02 NH 750 (should have kept it), a 00 Kaw W650 (Bonnie remake, nice bike but terrible ride), a 04 Vulcan 800 (first real bike but decided I'm not a cruiser guy, yet). I have an 04 Rebel (my son and I learned on, neat bike), a 01 NH 250 (for sale), a 05 Yamaha fz6 (my wife hates it...I'm keeping it ), a 94 NH 750 (love this bike), and my #1 bike, a 06 Suzuki V-strom 650 (all around "everything" bike). And looking for another one..I just don't know what it is yet! Last picture is an SV 650 I bought for my then 19 year old son. He wrecked it by hitting a deer or the deer hit him. The bike was totaled, the deer was totaled, and thank God, he just got a broke a collarbone. I think he got into MC'ing by my example. You can imagine how I felt when at 1:30 am, he calls and says he hit a deer and is bleeding on the side of the road. But at least "he" called and not a trooper. So here are some pics..Oh, forgot, he got an almost new Honda 919 and loves it. I think I have a pic somewhere.. Fixed them up for ya! 87fxlr
