Did ya notice the header pipes changed color..that is just something I don't like. 35 years and my pipes have only gotten rusty. I like the old styling more than the new Star Trek look the bikes are sporting. Triumph..haven't ridden one in decades,BSA...be fun bikes to ride now but wouldn't wanna own one.

The pipes turn color because they are single wall pipes. Most metric bikes have a double wall pipe that keeps the outer pipe from turning color.

Yuppers. the double walled pipes I think always look better. It might be me but I don't like the looks of pipes that have changed color.Just makes it look like it is running too hot or out of tune..personnel thing
