Who I am? Husband, father, rider, cook, home maintenance specialist, gardener, wood worker, retired from several different careers, cancer survivor, volunteer, and on and on. I ride a GL1800, 2003, Pearlescent Purple, currently with 106,750 miles approximately. Started riding in 1967 on a Triumph Bonneville, went to a HD Sportster in early 70's. Sold that when first child was due. Started riding again after the last child left home around 2002. Started with a Kawasaki 1500 Classic, to a Yamaha Venture Royale to a Yamaha Venture to the GL1800. Definitely, by far, the best ride I have ever had. But now I need to go to three wheels due to side effects of chemo and inability to feel well just where my feet are, neuropathy takes it's toll. But I am health and happy!

Welcome to Ride Ohio Mc, greendragon ! Glad to have you on board. You will find the members on this site are mellow and laid back, we don't have a prefered brand name motorcycle, all brands are equal. Your riding history sounds similar to mine and several other members.
We love photos, post them if you got them.
Again.....welcome on board Ride Ohio Mc

Welcome to the site. Neuropathy does make things harder, watch out you don't end up with charcot,I have both and I could still ride but did drop my bike in the garage twice. Got pictures of your bike, like any site,we like pictures.
