I've driven on CA roads in a cage with bikes lane splitting all around me.
It's not for the feint of heart. I don't think I'd try it on a big touring bike.

I worry about the saddlebags, it's easy to forget they are back there. Hook one on the rear fender of a car and you are done.

Did it when I was in CA a time or two but it didn't feel right,guess you have to be brought up doing it.
