STEVE McQueen's 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross is coming up for sale at auction. The bike was owned by the Hollywood icon and comes with the original documents supporting its authenticity. The bike will be sold at the Bonhams Las Vegas auction on 10th January 2013. The auction also features other desirable motorcycles, including a 1902 Indian Rambler, originally owned by the Indian Motorcycle Museum and four BMW racing motorcycles, including the sought-after Kompressor.

Shoot, with no more than lint in my pockets I couldn't even afford the taxes.

Shoot, with no more than lint in my pockets I couldn't even afford the taxes. I'm with ya Jammer- all my money is invested in riding my Gold Wing. I do have a little left for the RTE's - I just do not need any garage art!

I always wanted a Husky 400 like that. Problem is now that I can afford one (not Steve McQueen's but a regular one) I'm too old to really ride it like its meant to be ridden.
Bummer....
