I purchased a one piece leather riding suit Sunday. Unfortunately I was overcharged by $20.00 . Be sure to check the charge slip while you are at the counter.

The same thing happened to me when I bought my new helmet. It was only a $10.00 overcharge, but 10 bucks is 10 bucks !!

Well, come to think of it, they did give me a 'free' t-shirt!

Ah I used to think it was only $$$$$$. But after thinking about it if they make a 10.00 mistake a few times or more a day it can really add up. I work too hard to give my money away unless I want to.

I would go back and ask for my $20 but it would cost me more in gas to go back to Columbus.

Iron Pony? I could stop by and yell at them for you. I'm by there several times a day.

Call and ask to speak to Scott. He's a good guy. I know him.

ORIGINAL SUIT On Aug 26 of this year I purchased the above suit at Iron Pony for $320. I was very pleased with the purchase. This suit is heavy leather throughout and is the on par with suits that sell for twice the price and more. I really like the fit and the secure feeling when riding. It has heavy armor in the shoulders, elbows and knees. Although the photo shows knee pucks these do not come with the suit and are an extra cost option. The complete front is fully perforated and it is quite cool to wear. I rode with the suit two times and the main zipper down the front of the suit failed. I really do not think this is because of any 'cheapness' in the suit itself, just a one time bad zipper. These suits are labeled 'made in Vietnam' which may put some people off -- I didn't read that until after I had already purchased the suit. I emailed Iron Pony with a request that the suit be replaced. I did not get any reply so I emailed them again. Still no reply. I then emailed to Scott Holbrooks (thanks for the tip Wahoo) and recieved the following reply: I chose to drive to Columbus and have the suit replaced which I did yesterday. The store manager, Kenny assisted me in going thru the racks to find the right size/color replacement suit. Everything is good. About 15 miles into my trip home I stopped at a rest stop on I-71 and for some unknown reason I felt compelled to double check the size. It was a size 50 when I had returned a size 46. So back I go again to Iron Pony. Of course they don't have a size 46. Kenny can't be blamed as we both discovered that the suit was tagged size 46 but inside the label was 50. So I ended up with a choice of grey or blue, neither of which I really wanted but they did not have either red or yellow which were my first and second choices. I chose to get the grey suit as I have a grey Shoei helmet tha will match it. I just wanted to let you all know what a nice place the Iron Pony is and recommend them. I have made several purchases (see related post in this forum) and have been highly pleased with the selection (HUGE) and the service. REPLACEMENT SUIT
