It is a bit spendy. You can buy an air compressor and check your tires every day for that money.
I have to keep my Jeep tires 3 psi higher than recommended or the tire pressure light comes on. I question how accurate it is.

I have a tire gauge - and the only trouble I have is getting down and then getting back up if I need to get to the compressor to add a burst of air. $ 233 gets me lots of gas to ride.

RR It's an age thing, Knees after 55 then 60 . Heck just talking about it makes mine hurt. I did read about the cheaper ones that show red when low leaking and causing flats. I just lay on the creeper and check them [easier on the knees]

Hey T/C - Checking air pressure - my right knee hurts like the dickens and I am only 73. My right hip hurts after I ride a couple hundred miles. I think I will have to slow down riding tank to tank! If I was on a creeper I could not get up from there either without something to help, like a nearby workbench or a stool... I finally went to Harbor Freight and bought some knee pads. That helps except for the getting up part! Oh those golden years!
