Habits are hard to break...
In 1983 I bought a Camping Trailer - way too heavy for my 1982 Gold Wing, I thought! Photo was at a Mall Show for our Gold Wing Road Riders Chapter in Cincinnati for PR for motorcycling.
In 1987 I bought a Shoreline trailer... toured all over the USA on our 1985 Gold Wing Aspencade model (I had it loaded with chrome)
In 1994 I bought another trailer - an Escapade again and toured all over the USA on our 1994 SE model Gold Wing.
In 2006 I was planning on riding my 2002 Illusion Blue Wing to Alaska and I had the pearl white trailer painted blue.
In 2009 I bought a 2008 leftover Gold Wing and an Escapade trailer to pull behind the Wing. After having A-Fib last August and finally a hospital stay in October to get cardioverted (the paddles) - I sold it. I have been pulling a trailer since 1983... and this was a SAD day!
This trailer was special.

I sold it to friends who ended up being the new owner of an identical Gold Wing to mine.
Did I miss it??? Yes!!
Yesterday another old riding friend of mine was selling his trailer due to health reasons and was going to quit riding.
Here is where the old habit hit - so I did it again - I rode over to his house and bought his trailer. Older and smaller that the Escapade that I bought in 2009. It is hard to travel without a trailer and like I said I have had one on the back of my Wings since 1983. So here is the new/old one I bought.
I dug around and found my old license plate...
Now I am ready to do some more touring in the summer...
Now the wife has room for her hair dryer, shoes, clothes, etc, etc, etc.
AND - I can have more than one change in underwear!
