As most of you know Hotcakes got a 2006 Ridley for Christmas. It had 42 original miles on it when we picked it up. The bike was a little too tall for her with the ape hangers and springer seat. Also the bike needed a front fender. This is what it looked like when we picked it up. Next she received a matching front fender. Now it has a stock seat which is 4 inches lower than the springer seat. I also replaced the ape hangers with a set of factory pull back bars. Now the bike fits her - she is never going to grow up, ya know. ;D Next I have to find some hard saddlebags and a windshield.

Well it's certainly one of a kind and not much chance of seeing another one?
Does it go as well as it looks?

I forgot to comment on the springer front forks, I love that look. If I were to build a bobber. I would definitely have a springer front end on it.
How difficult was it to get the fender and seat ? Who did the paint on the front fender ?

Who did the paint on the front fender ? I ordered the fender from the factory. The guy that painted the bike in 2006 was still available to do the fender. The seat was sent to us for free because they said that it had a defect. Not ;D But it was still free.

Well, Hotcakes finally rode her bike tonight. It was a little cool so we stayed around the rock for her maiden ride. Everything went well and she loves the bike. Now who want to buy a slightly used Yamaha Vino? ;D

Hotcakes put about 175 miles on her bike over the weekend. I think that I have created the new road monster. ;D She loves riding it but after riding on the highway at 65mph, a windshield is definitely on her wish list.
