Which price range are you comfortable with when you go motorcycle shopping. This poll is aimed at determining which price bracket our members consider when shopping for a new or used motorcycle.
All poll votes are confidential...
Nobody can tell how you vote.

At this point in my life - I do not plan on shopping for another motorcycle. So - I didn't vote!

It would depend on what it is. I can't see buying a new ride unless I had an abundance of cash so I would buy used like I usually do. I would consider paying over $10k only if it were for a nice BMW GS or one of the new Honda Adventure bikes. Otherwise, I'll buy something someone thought was a good idea and wants to unload.

Since I just bought a new ride, I just answered the price of mine.

I am a person of mixed emotions about it. I hate to buy used because you rarely know how it was tacked care of in it' previous live and I am no mechanic by any means and do not like working on anything I drive. I am a freak on matinence for that reason. But I am also one of those guys who can't buy anything unless I feel I got a deal (almost made my truck salesman cry).
I was looking at a new Goldwing at $27k+ because a good used one with crazy low miles is hard to find and was willing to sell my VStar and 2 of my quads to help fund the endever. The wife found a 02 online locally loaded with everything on it and only 8,000 miles on it for $12,000 and it looks new. Now we are both happy.
I do not believe you should spend more than one can afford or go overboard because if something happens to a job or for health issues, hard decisions will need to be made.

If it doesn't come disassembled in a box I can't afford it. Actually you need a choice of under $1000. That's more like it and yes they are out there. After all what fun is it if you can't use your tools.

I buy what I can afford. We sold off three street bikes and two quads to finance our new rides. Simple math really.... One of me and three rides? Bought what I always wanted and couldn't be happier.
