Parallel twins....but in my case it would be an XS650 Yamaha....not the Ninja.

Don't see a 45 degree V-twin on the list

I don't see the 75 degree twin V-Star engine configuration mentioned either.
Maybe it's because of Dave's sport bike background. ;D ;D ;D

Don't forget the in line triple Triumphs
I have 3 V-twins and 3 singles. The singles are great for the techincal stuff, the twins for when you want to get there faster!

Put me down for a parallel twin. Like my 650R drove a F800 and really liked it. Think the f800 might be the best combination of size, weight, and power for tooling around town and driving the country lanes.

mes44317 was telling of the silly air filter placement on his parallel twin. It's been 10,000 miles since I purchased the "Yellow Lump". I am in pretty deep tracing wires, so I should check the air filter. With the gas tank already off the bike it was a mere 20 minutes more to remove the top of the air box! Gosh awful tight in the engine valley with a double tube top fame. 4 carbs, plenum, 4 velocity stacks, air box, and filter all live in there!

I have the inline 4, not the CBR, the kawy Concours. But I know I can out run the CBR, say to Vermont or Cali. Sorry Dave, just had to say it.
