This is a cut away view of the left hand grip with the device installed. It vibrates the grip to remind you (me in most cases) that your turn signal is still on!!!!

Standard equipment on 1978 XS11 Yamahas is a very functonal turn siganl self canceller. Still work great. My 1982 XJ650RJ Seca had it also.

What are these "turn signals" that you are speaking of?

It has somesort of a timer and something hooked up to the odometer. It figures out how fast your going and adjusts how long it waits before it turns off the headlight. The only problem is it only works with the stock flasher unit. Aftermarket flasher units will not work.

All Yamahas have self canceling turn signals....even my 1981 XS650 has that feature.

I think putting the indicator light on the mirrors would be helpful. The ones on the FJR are nearly worthless in bright sunlight.
