Most of the riders that I spend time with seem to like the back roads instead of the Interstate Highways. There always seems to be almost forgotten places to find. If you enjoy these types of rides this website might help you find some different things. I stumbled across this when a co-worker told me about the book. www.forgottenoh.com/page1.htmlEdit: The author has entered most of the buildings without permission I think that there is some good information and places to visit legally.

That's a very interesting site, I see a few places listed right here in Alliance. The Jewish cemetary and the Childrens home were often talked about when hauntings were mentioned. I find places like that very interesting to visit, I found an old cemetary on top of a hill near Slaineville from the Civil War era that should be on his list. I also found an old Civil War cannon still standing where it overlooked a valley during the Civil War, it's on a country road on the outskirts of a little town near here called Bergholz.

Hey xs, Is there a church next to cemetary? I found an old cemetary about 25 or so yr's ago on the "lets see where this road goes" navigation system. I was coming from Coleys stag bar In carrolton (great chili) which long gone now and stopped to check out this old cemetary. I have never been able to find it since. The reason it was so cool was it had all these limestone markers with a raised relief hand with the index finger pionting up. We were trying to read the dates and found one with the finger pointing down! Must of been a bad dude! I would love to find that place. sounds like you might have. Lets go find it in the spring. ;D

The cemetary I was refering to is on Rt 164 south of Salineville, some of the markers go back to the 1700s. There is no church around that cemetary. And yeh, this summer I am up for a ride anywhere anytime.
