If you are in N.E. Ohio and looking for an afternoon's destination, try the Covered Bridge at Teegarden located just south of Salem Ohio. The bridge which was built in 1876 spans the middle fork of the Little Beaver Creek. Because the bridge was built in 1876, it is often referred to as the "Centennial Bridge". Just recently the bridge parking lot and picnic area were updated so that they present a nice experience for visitors. To find the bridge, locate Salem ohio [ east of Canton] and follow RT 45 south of Salem a couple of miles, and at the bottom of the enormous hill on Rt 45 which you can't miss, turn right on Teegarden road and follow your nose a couple of miles, it's clearly marked.
