I have used Sta-Bil for several years and it seems to work fine. Just wondering if there would be any benefit to trying Seafoam. Heard it was also good.

I use Sta-bil for storage and Seafoam during the riding season to keep the carbs cleaned. So far I have had no fuel related problems.

I use Stabil in both bikes, the John Deere, the push mower and a portable generator we have. Works great for us.
Amtrack, come on up to the shores of Lake Erie in January. I'd love to watch you trying to ride here that time of the year. :-)

I have used Sta-bil for years but I like Seafoam for ethenol. It seems to keep the float bowls cleaner in the 2 strokes.

I have never put anything in the tank. When it warms enough I ride it. If it stays cold I start it in the driveway and let it run. But this might be the first year for sta-bil, farmers almanac says colder than last year. [why is it the older I get the more I hate the cold?]

I've used Seafoam as an occasional fuel additive. I've also used it on several old cars. I am not a believer in the "miracle" in a can product but this stuff made a huge difference in how the car ran. We had an old Bonneville with the large V6 engine. It went from 17 mpg to around 21mpg after I did the full treatment. Here is a link to a videoof the process. video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6187290865726229173#I still use Stabil when I store the bike. I fill the tank, add Stabil and ride a couple of miles to make sure it gets in the carbs and just shut the bike down.

has anyone mixed seafoam AND stabil? Have never done that but I don't think that much of stabil vs Seafoam... Think seafoam is a very good product. I don't recommend much but another product that works as they claim is Fluid Film..lot of us use it in the lawn care industry.. www.fluid-film.com/
