It's that time of year again when good riding days will be few and far between. What will you and your bike be doing this winter ?

I'll ride if we get an unseasonably warm day... otherwise, forget it! I'm a baby when it comes to cold weather.

If it wasn't for the salt left on the roads, I would probably ride on snow-less days in the winter.
I wish I still had my dirt bike because we used to ride in the snow all winter long. Bummer..... ;D
I've toyed with the idea of leaving my Wing at Mrs. Wahoo's brother's house in St. Mary's Georgia for the winter and flying down for a week or two mid winter to ride. Maybe next winter.....

If I had a garage where I could store the bike close to home I would. I used to. But when I have to store it at the in laws 60 miles away it makes it hard to take it out on a warm day.

Up until several years ago I would ride down to 40 degrees regardless. But in the last several ( since age 50) it has to be at least 50 degrees and salt-free road surfaces. Long ago when I was young & dumb, I rode in as low as 27 degrees. I'm just less of both (young & dumb) now!!

I'm good to go at 40 and above. Salt doesn't bother me, I bought it to ride.

I have always ridden in winter - BUT during the last few years I like to ride in Florida from November to April We like restaurants on the Gulf coast! Friends Judy and Butch who rode down on their Orange Wing to ride with us while there was snow in Ohio. Which is better than this... our friends Tom and Kathy from Tennessee...

Used to ride every chance the road was dry. But now, I don't care for the temps below 50. Since retiring, Riding in winter is much easier.
