My bike manual says to use 93 octane or better.

Well....I probably could vote twice. My Goldwing uses regular but my Harley requires Premium. In the poll I chose regular only because no one else had yet.

I use 89 octane even though the manual calls for 87. It could be my imagination, but I think the bike runs better on the 89 octane.
I tried wood chips, but they produced too much smoke and you have to carry out the ashes. ;D

Mine runs on regular but depending on where we stop to eat there could be a lot of methane in the air.

Well manuel says 91...it runs fine on 87,no pinging.. So I just pour my lawn mower gas in the tank...I have run cheap gas for thirty years in this bike..:-)

The Honda Transalp and Aero get the cheapest gas money can buy. The Katooms get 93 or I have to take the seats off and unplug the ignition advance so I can run 3rd world gas
