Lightning, welcome to Ride Ohio, you are a milestone, you are our 100th member !! Now 100 members on most sites doesn't mean much, it is considered small potatoes, but around here it means a lot. We are a small close knit group of bikers who love to ride, so now we are 100 strong. All great members I might add !!
Welcome to Ride Ohio !!

Thanks for such a warm welcome - reward or not. I guess intelligent conversation and friendship is worth more than any coffee mug or trophy anyday! Look forward to meeting all of you this year, although I've already met XS last Sunday with the hubby - he is really nice, but his better half is absolutely charming - really enjoyed talking with her. See you all soon, I hope.

I should have guessed..."thundercloud and lightning", an excellent combination.
It was a pleasure meeting you too, had I thought ahead, I would have offered you and hubby some refreshments while you were here. Glad you liked Mrs. XS, she is definitely my better half. Hope to see both of you on the road this summer. XS

Couldn't pass up the opportunity to be a milestone, and since thundercloud took the plunge, I was ready to jump in, too. Just reading everybody on this site, I have a hunch this is a GREAT group of people to hang with. By the way, we would never rain on our friends' parade (not on purpose, anyway)...just as long as everyone plays nice!

The worst part about riding in the rain is the 2 or 3 hours it takes to clean the bike

Hi!! I'm kinda new here myself and I'd like to give a big welcome to all new members too. I agree with vstrom2up I was thinking the same thing about cleaning a bike.
