Well we had our XS1100 meet,it went well.we talked alot, looks like we all get along together and plan on some more 1100 rides. I think it is pretty cool when a model and brand specific bike group can get together in a small part of our state.

I agree, it's great fun to be around other owners of your favorite bike, especially if it is an iconic model. The XS650 Yamaha is another one of the bikes that has a following who get together for rides and outings. The one that comes to mind for the old XS650 is the Spring ride in the Land Between the lakes. They have several rides in different parts of the USA during the course of a year.

Well our little group, after a lot of man hours put into a couple of bikes to keep them on the road, is planning a ride Oct. 17...we think we will leave New Richmond by 10:00am..take 52 to the Augusta Ferry to KY..to Maysville, back to OH and on to Portsmouth, the floodwall and then the Fishbowl for lunch and the return route we have yet to determine...this is a very loose group..anything and everything can change as we ride.

Errrrrr...Aaaah, I'd rather see photos of the bike ;D New rear tire saturday... Scoring up the rim for the new tire..Metzler Marathon 880..handles great, neutral handleing, good in rain but the rear wore kinda faster than the front......... Did get out a little bit to scuff up the new tire..did "feel" different. People live here in New Haven next to the seldom used tracks with a cool deck on top.. Off the beaten path a bit..........

Need a little help in the route planning.... From Cincinnati (rt52) to Augusta...ferry to KY to (rt8) to Maysville back to Ohio to Portsmouth to the flood wall...simple plan and very scenic..not sure how I wanna take the group back to Cincinnati..73 to 50? Just something without a lot of lights and light traffic...doing pre ride tomorrow...getting there is easy getting back is the problem..scenic yet a bit challenging to the riding skills towards the end without back tracking. Ideas?

Had to get a new front tyre for the sporty, got a Dunlop original with Harley Davidson on the side wall, but I didn't get it from the Harley guys, they wanted €100.00 to fit it?
I called Cotters in Ballymount, got the tyre and it was fitted for €8.81? I think someone is taking the Mick! New tyre, fitting and disposal of old tyre, €155.00? I don't think I can complain!
On the road again!! Now all I need is some good weather.
