Great photos, I always enjoyed Alaska but unfortunately no motorcycle. I always went in the winter to work.

Very nice ! When are you taking the new White Wing up there ? It would have to be in mid June of some year ... 2010 or 2011 after that I will probably be too old or dead or unable to keep it up! ;D

Well - I am sharpening my pencil getting out some MAPS using Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010 and it looks like (if everything goes well) I will be heading west mid June this year 2010.
I will be hooking up my trailer and heading for Colorado and Utah and passing through some other states just to get to there. I may touch Nevada - I have a couple friends (Gold Wing riders) in Henderson, NV and a nephew (Harley rider) in Grand Junction plus a brother-in-law in Rangely, CO
It is a few months away but I will have that time for planning.

My daughter-in-law was in England visiting her mum (mom) and got out in time! If she would have had a delay of a day - she would still be there I guess.

All flights grounded and it looks likely that they will be for a while yet.
If things don't improve soon I think a few airlines will be going out of business.
We are hoping (for once), for high winds and rain to disperse the ash and dust. It's unreal at the moment.
