I have worn it so much that I feel 'wrong' with out it. Me too. I rode my bike around to the back yard to wash it a few weeks ago. Shorts, tank top, no lid. It felt weird.

Well no choice here as it's mandatory that you wear one, fine and penalty point on the license if you don't have one!

I had my old XS650 out for a spin last week and did something I preach against, I was out and about without a helmet. While it felt good to be out on the old bike, I didn't feel safe without the helmet.
I will say it's nice to have the choice to wear one or not.

Count me in with the no helmet bunch. I think that I'm one of the only ones on here that doesn't regularly wear one.

I wear a modular helmet too, I consider it as being a full face helmet.

I wear a modular helmet too, I consider it as being a full face helmet. I have a modular helmet too and always wear it. I have a friend who was simply backing his motorcycle out of the garage without his helmet - his foot slipped once outside and he fell over - trip to the hospital - stitches - concussion - he said that is all it took, he will always put his helmet on when he backs his bike out - he always wears his helmet when we ride. He said he learned a lesson - "If you think you don't need a helmet - you probably don't!" That is not my quote - it is his!

Wife and I always wear ours. Really wish they would just pass the helmet law. Take the MSF ot Riders Edge course, learn right and ride safe.
Full face or 3/4 helmet always.

I wear an open or a full face depending how far and what roads I'll be on.I always wear a helmet, even 2 mile to the store. Sunday the heat and humidity almost changed my mind.
