Until you've lived next door to someone who rides their dirt bikes, four-wheelers, etc. around their home continually, you'll just never understand what it's like.
Respect your neighbors or move somewhere where there are none.
Can you sense that this is something I feel strongly about? LOL

My cousins lived out in the country and somebody built a racetrack about 5 miles down the road. However, the road twisted and the track was on the next hill and probably only a mile or two away as the crow flies. Even as a kid, I remember distinctly what a noise it made at their picnics. Of course, I might be remembering it because the sounds of the bikes made me look over at the track on the hill and wish I were there rather than my cousin's stupid birthday party! Regardless, the sound carried like crazy.
If the track were there before the neighbors moved in, then the track should be allowed. But since the the neighbors are there and probably there specifically for the quiet country, then no.

I can hear Mansfield Raceway really clear on a summers night , When Nascar was here it was on the loud side at times , Nothing compares to my next door neighbor with his Loud 4 wheeler that thing sounds like it is coming through my living room at times ,, I have never complained though due to my well small 2 acre race track I run the minibikes around ,, Yes that would be my yard ,,LOL I can get it really going around here ,, So you have all been warned , Dont move Next to the Shoe's unless you like the sound of racing engines at any given moment

We live "in the sticks". The neighbors for the most leave their four wheelers stock so not a problem. But the kids who live somewhere else seem to like to ride on the property that joins us to the back {113 acres}. They are the ones with little or no exhaust.many a night at 1:00 am I hear them roaring back there.Being that I get up for work at 3:30am this can be a problem.

We looked at a house that was on the market in a desirable location, the day we went to look at the house, there were a bunch of dirt donks next door riding on a track they had laid out. The 2 strokes were the worst offenders. We found out later the dirt bikes were the reason the house was on the market. The noise, dust and the smell of 2 stroke oil can ruin a good relationship with your neighbors.
