Just joined and looking forward to Spring and Riding Season beginning again. I did get my Roadliner back out for a short ride on Saturday as it was 65 degrees. If anyone is from N.W. Ohio let me know. I'm a 55 year old retiree who loves to ride a lot.

I hired into the Ford Motor Company in November of 1973. They had 30 and out then and it stayed that way under subsequent contracts and subsequent owners of the Autolite Sparkplug factory in Fostoria. The latest owner being Honeywell, who is now moving the operation to Mexico via NAFTA. I got out before that happened with about 33 and a half years of seniority. I stayed until my youngest daughter graduated college and got married. I retired two weeks later. I will turn 56 in March and my bike will turn two in May.

Welcome to the board. I'm not too far from you, just down I-75 at Minster. Keep us posted on any rides that you are planning and Trish and I will plan on attending one or two.

That youngest daughter used to run cross country and I remember Minster always had some terrific runners. I'll keep that ride thing in mind, especially since I am Ride Commander/Sargeant at Arms in the American Legion Riders group over in Bettsville. I am always looking on the net for rides and events.

You are correct about the Minster girls. There are a bunch of State Championship banners hanging up in the gym for Cross Country and Track. It must be something in the water here or it could be the German background (there are a bunch of long legged blonde haired blue eyed young ladies around )
