Looks kind short for my tastes... I'd kinda like to experience each state for at least a day or two, ya know?
Guess it'll take much more than five days! LOL

Thanks for the heads-up about the possible condition of 'The Going to the Sun road' roadrunner.I just checked with Glacier and the website said Logan pass opened July 2,I should be good to go.
I just came up the Beartooth pass this morning and I am typing this from Red Lodge MT.I have two more days at a campsite in Yellowstone so I'll be going back down the Beartooth this afternoon and up again in about two days as I head for glacier.I'd have to say the Beartooth pass is the most phenomenal mountain road that I have ever seen
An ironic side note.I just googled the Beartooth pass and I found out that General Sheridan was the first person to led a party over the pass.Sheridan grew up in Summerset Ohio,17 miles from where I live.

Logan Pass is awesome - sheep on the road beautiful views - WOW! We stayed at the Many Glacier Lodge on the east side of the Going to the Sun Highway. Awesome lodge! Beartooth - an ultimate ride! I love that ride. ;D We stayed in Red Lodge back in 2000 and would ride it every day for a week. We would go up to Cooke City for lunch and back into Billings for a rally and then go for a ride. We were out there last year too but didn't go to up Cooke City.

I have a friend that is about 70 years old lives up near Toledo he did all 48 states last summer. He validated each state with pictures in front of each states post office or county seat. He has a scrap book with all the routes and pics. He did this in segments leaving from his home each time. I think that would be a really cool thing to do. But usually when I am asked where I would like to go. I usually say I am already there if I am on the bike.

North Pole or as close as I can get. Been to the North Pole - Alaska Even had Santa come out and sit on my bike! I posted this photo before. He wanted to trade me for a beater of a sleigh and a bunch of reindeer. He had lots of work for me too. I told him I was retired and had a full beard once and took most of it off. ;D
