It depends on what I am riding. The Aero turns like a boat full of bowling balls while at the other end the Transalp will turn without thinking about it. The KTM also handles great as long as the hard bags are empty or on the garage floor.
On my last trip, Rt 3 from Mt. Vernon to Cloumbus was so boring, straight and flat I thought I had been transmuglified to Hancock County, home of the Hancock Handlebars Horizontal Hundered. Add in the traffic and you want to become a Shriner and start doing figure 8's in your lane to occupy your bored frontal lobe.
I prefer consecutive reverse curves over those with long straights between them. Some of the curves on 555 and 676 were banked and made you feel like you were on an old board track or hitting a mini Daytona high bank.

There is a long left hand up hill sweeper near my home that I like to play around with. I like to enter the curve at the posted 45 mph limit and roll on the throttle until I squirt out the other end of the curve at 75 mph. The fact that the curve runs up hill makes the bike pull hard all the way thru the curve up to the crest of the hill. I can feel the torque of the bike in my arms and in the seat of my pants the whole way. What a rush that is.

In Ireland, Curves is a chain of women's gym and beauty centres? We don't have curves in roads we have bends?

Sorry to hear about your mishap. Glad that your relatively okay and nothing worse then a mangled wrist. How fortuitous that you got the riding pants only a week ago!

Dang Marvin !! Sorry to hear about the wrist and the bike. That really sucks anytime it happens, but 300 miles from home makes it twice as bad. Hope you and the bike are back on the road soon.

Fashionable Scott, very fashionable! He was in amazingly good spirits but that may have been due to all of the pain meds he was on! Oh and that is his electric razor he is talking into...
