Which configuration is the engine on your bike ? If you own more than one motorcycle, you can vote for as many as 7 different configurations.
If you vote "Other", please explain...

Bill, in the US the smaller Harley dirt trackers are singles and so are the old dirt bikes. I think the dirt trackers are actually Rotax motors like the old Can-Ams and ATKs
We have 3 v-twins (no Harleys) so you can add two more to the poll but I was only allowed to add one of them. 1 parallel twin and 1.5 single cyclinders (frankenthumper is in a basket).
I have another bike in the garage I need to get fixed up and it is a parallel twin also. It is a 1969 Suzuki X-6 Hustler 2 stroke 2 cyclinder. It has been sitting so long the carbs are gummed up. Some day I hope to ride it back to my uncles and drop it off to him.

you can but once you vote, you can't vote again. And since I have 3 v-twins, it only let me check one v-twin, one single and one parallel.

Yep mike, you are correct about Susuki making a rotary engined bike, but Norton/Villers had one as well and if it had received the backing could just have saved Norton back in the 70's.
However a good idea was not supported as they were still stuck in the old twin syndrome.

Everyone is stuck in the twin syndrome trying to take a bite out of Harley. The v-twin sportbike market has dwindled though. V-twins are the best way to boost cc's and keep a narrow motor for those of us who think blacktop is over rated. All the bike adventure bikes are v's except for BMW. In Japan you can get a v-twin 400cc Tansalp and in Europe and Japan you can get a 125cc Shadow v-twin Harley knock off. Does anyone remember the Maico 760 single cycliner two stroke? www.superhunky.com/nov00rsMaico760.html

Back in the 60'sHonda had a 125 inline 5 cylinder race bike. Reved to something like 20K RPM. It was so sensitive that that they a had different carb setup for sunny or cloudy days.
