Saw this today while working..know nothing about BMW..86 plus on the odometer...pretty cool looking I thought... Anybody know? It is a R90/6 by the seat but what does that mean.

Thanks Dave...looks like the owner has taken care of it,actually was hoping the owner would have came out and talked to me as I took the pictures.When I pulled up to my job site all I saw was a saddle bag, dumpster hid the rest from my view,I knew then it was old..really wanted to sit on it for a second.....don't exactly know the draw to BMW...but have stood the test of time.

Friend of mine has one in the "burnt orange" color. Last I looked 198,000 miles. Still ran great. No work beyond normal maintenance. He has pulled a trailer for a good many of those miles
