Some of us have unusual screen names, others not so much. I'm just curious as to how some of you came up with your screen name and what it means. For instance my screen name is xsyamahadg which causes a lot of confusion with some people. I have been asked if I am from India or Pakistan or some Asian country, and I 'm always asked to write out my e-mail address when giving it to someone verbally. Here is my screen name dissected:
XS.. is for the old XS650 Yamaha's that I love.
Yamaha.. is because I am a Yamaha man and love the brand
DG.. are my god given initials
Put them all together and you have xsyamahadg
So, if it's something you care to share with us...how did you come up with your screen name ??
XS

Well, fooey is a german word for NO, stop it, quit that and so on. I use it in schutzhund dog sport training. We use german commands for the dogs because when there is a trial to title the dogs, the judge is flown in from germany and I think they like it.
Basically, the sport involves tracking, as in man tracking, protection work, and obedience routines. Once a dog is fully trained he will be very much like a police dog. The training takes tons of time--2/3 years not uncommon for a good dog!
So I figure its a clue to any other sch. trainers who also ride. See Ya

I never had a nickname that stuck so I tried to make mine "idiot-proof" but I have found over time that there is no such thing as "idiot-proof".

Fooey, my job has brought me into contact with working dogs, but these dogs ain't attack dogs they are dogs we use in joint operations with Customs and Excise. I have to say once they are trained to detect a substance or what ever scent they react to, if you have it they will sniff you out, we do the rest!

8trackmind was the name of my band. I thought it sounded better than Geritollica.

My screen name is from back when I was on AOL... in the beginning you were only allowed a certain number of letters and numbers... hence "jenifer" instead of "Jennifer"... I pretty much keep the screen name for everything so I don't have to remember a bunch of screen names!

Well there might be a few reasons for my nickname but my story is I like pancakes (hotcakes). That's my story and I am sticking to it.

VStrom2up is pretty self-explanatory, but this is the only place I use it. For virtually everything else I am schilshu. That is a combination of my maiden name (Schilling) and married name (Shupe).
