Thanks 8trak, Just updated recently,(last week :-))New Nelson Riggs soft saddle bags, they are very nice and can put the kitchen sink in there, sure beats my 27 year old Bagman bags. Got new grips,I like the chrome on them vs my cheap Grab Ons I have been using and new ss brake lines, the old original rubber ones were breaking down and plugged my spooge hole in the front master cylinder and caused my front breaks to lock up...time to up grade and do it right.

8trak, still getting used to this site, didn't see your bike right off, I came real close to getting the '80 Suzuki over my Yamaha but I liked Yamahas quality and it just had soo many features that I liked I went with the Yami plus I liked the dealer.

I'm pro UJM, not pro brand. Most late 70's early 80's Japanese bikes are built like little tanks. It's great to own a piece of that era. Lets face it, all the cars built back then were butt ugly.
