Tail section is cleaned up. New mirrors match the lines of the bike better that the original round ones from the factory. Now I just need to get 600 miles on it for the initial service.

Grom looks great. 600 miles .... that's a lot of laps around the rock. :-)

I have been looking at the smaller bikes the last two years or so...I was wondering do you command as much respect while on the road as a full sized bike. What I mean is do cars give you your full lane or try to pass you in your lane or pull up beside you at a light in your lane? May seem like a stupid, simple minded questions but I have seen it happen. With idiots talking on cell phones and texting...we are harder to see than ever, just thinking.

This Grom is fine because it is tall and people treat it as a full size bike. The little Harleys and the Rupps are a different story. Because they are a lot smaller it seems that I get crowded more by cars trying to pass. I usually stay in the middle of my lane.

What kind of speed will it do? 65MPH but it takes a little time. The sweet spot right now seems to be 45MPH but I only have 100 miles on the bike.

With 102 miles on the clock I pulled into the gas station and took on .88 gallons. 115mpg seems pretty good for the 1st tank.

I would need three beers and two cups of coffee to walk that far.

I sat on a Grom at the Honda dealer today. Seems like a fun little bike. The one they have at On the Edge Honda in Amherst is red.
