tacho doesn't work and the tacho oil seal leaks , 130 section rear tyre needs changing to a 120 , it's impossible to remove the wheel without the swingarm , the rear indicators are loose and hence have a poor earth connection , despite a top end overhaul some 250 miles ago , and five years ago , the cylinder head leaks oil , the starter motor doesn't work on the electric start , and yet again the front fork oil seals will need to be done !!

But still, it's worth a little work. Is that in your back garden ?

well the decision has been made ! the b3 has been retired to the bantam shed , i need to get the b1 back on the road this week , and i already have the b4 in bits .... to be sent to powder coat in red when funds are available !! so it will just have to stay complete and await better times , bigger glasses and cheaper wine !! having said that , it cost me £360 , and came with an invoice for a top end rebuild for £325 .. so there's nothing to worry about ? ;D

so here's the update folks ! fitted a new cylinder head gasket , sorted new shims after a lot of measurement , and should have everything back together next weekend ... but meanwhile .... and hopefully not a lot of folks will recognise these ... eBay Motors: KAWASAKI New KZ750 Alloy wheels pair (item 320149741324 end time Aug-26-07 16:26:36 PDT) whilst i already have a set on the b3 , which would benefit from a good paint and polish , it might just be a better option to buy a new set ?? shhh !!

Do you have your lester mags on ebay ?? and By the way you dont have to remove the rear swing arm to get the wheel off ,, it is a bit more work compaired to other bikes ,,,

Peter I wrote the guy to see if the rear is 16 or 18 ,, For those who dont know ,, Lester mags were a dealer option for some bikes these look to be for a KZ750 twin but should also fit a 1000 ,, But not sure ? These wheels do not use a cush drive in the rear wheel and were suppose to be stronger than stock wire wheels ,, If you look all the adapters come in this kit too so asking price should be a steal at 75.00 ,,

thanks shoe ! i'd figured they were the exact same aftermarket alloys that are presently on the b3 . they were originaly on the b4 canadian import when i got it by the way ... the rear 16" tyre is oversized , and not very practical ... it wouldn't make for an easy life having to remove the swing arm if you had a puncture ! but here's my reasoning .. i could have the existing ones powder coated , only powder coat and polish would be expensive ! and like you say , the kit that comes with would be expensive on it's own ... i'll give it my best shot , unless you wanted them ?? ;D
