Six weeks until the Ann Arbor show and I should have the bike finished in time. I have to machine a new set of jackshaft mounts. After assembly I noticed that the jackshaft centerline is about an inch lower than the crankshaft centerline. I think that it would look better if the chainguard is mounted horizontally instead of on an angle. I did manage to fabricate the kickstand assembly, weld it to the frame, and hit the buffing wheels again. The front fork rotation stops are also finished and buffed. It looks like it is time to start on the engine this week.

How about naming it "Moe Money".
Or "Hot Cakes "

I am going to try and use this piece for the chainguard face plate. It may warp beyond repair as I weld on the side pieces. But, I figured that it is worth a shot.

Chain guard is all welded and polished. The engine is all cleaned up and powder coated. Carburetor is clean and ready for fuel. I still have to run the fuel line, throttle cable, brake cable, and kill switch. It's getting close to ride time. ;D

I machined up the new fuel inlet last night. A shut off valve is not needed on the carburetor since I have one on the fuel tank. The original 3 pieces are on the left. I machined 2 pieces of stainless in the lathe for the new inlet. After welding I put the new part in the lathe to finish the machining. A little time on the buffer and the new fuel inlet is ready to install.

I finished the assembly last night so I just had to test ride the bike. The engine fired right up and ran great for a couple laps around the shop. A few little tweaks and it is ready for the Ann Arbor show this weekend. XS, you can ride it any time. ;D
