Great photo's of your ride through some really beautiful countryside, not too sure of the bird with the bra stuffed with money though?

Hey Road Runner - did a biddy little tear let you down? Sorry - I just couldn't help thinking about Burl Ives in your photo with the bra-girl - I admit to paying much more attention to the gal though. In the other photos - great scenery and the countryside was nice too!

Go to Skagway and see for yourself. The Red Onion is the place to go! ;D

My granddad built a cabin near knockemstiff. Good hunting there.

Great photos, I have been to Alaska quite a few times but never in the summer and never on the bike. You just keep riding and posting photos for us working people to enjoy - Thanks. ;D

One of these days you will be able to retire. I retired 8 years ago and have been on R & R ever since. I hope each and every one of you who is still working is able to retire with reasonably good health and then get to be "Retired and Riding"

How do you like the new bike and trailer ?

XS - I love the new bike and trailer. Actually the 2008 rides the same as the 2002 only it has about 142,000 less miles on it! The 2008 has just over 7,000 miles on it so far. The new Escapade trailer - handles the same - although the new trailer has much less wear and tear on it than my old Escapade trailer. My 2002 Gold Wing was a great bike and the trailer I had no problems with except one of the gas struts that held up the trailer lid had to be replaced while I was in Alaska in 2006. I wish I could have kept the 2002 but #1 - I didn't have room in my garage and #2 - I can only ride one motorcycle at a time much less - the insurance on my toys can get out of hand! I figure at my age - this 2008 will be the last motorcycle I ever will own. (crap, what am I sayin' ) It is true though ... Anyway, I hope to ride as long as I can on 2 wheels. ;D Have a good day!

I hope to ride on two wheels as long as possible too, my uncle retired and rode his bike to a part time job on the golf course every day until he was 74.
I told my wife that the V-Star Silverado would be my last bike too, but every time I go to the bike shop, I see something new I want. I figure as long as I have a good bike in the garage, I'll be happy knowing it's sitting there waiting for me to ride it....even if it's only once a week. I'm just getting over some surgery and can't ride at the moment, but I hope to get a ride or two in yet this month.
Keep us up to date when you go to Florida.

XS That I will do - lots of people get real emotional and jealous when I send out updates of rides in Florida. One guy said STOP sending me pictures of warm rides when as he put it "I am sitting here in Ohio with snow all around my ankles." ... I took him off my list. ;D Thanks XS and hope you are able to ride soon! Later...

It's always a pleasure to see where you have gone, because you are going to places that I have never been to!
Your photos are always very good and give a depth to the places and sites you visit.
You are very lucky to be able to do the amount of riding that you do and as I said before echo the sentiments that have been expressed by XS.
Have a good safe trip, but please no photos of rain!
